Capital Pride’s first-ever Ice Parade comes to Winterlude 2SLGBTQIA+ community and allies invited to celebrate Pride on world’s longest skating rink Ottawa, ON – Today Capital Pride announced its inaugural Ice Parade, taking place during Winterlude as part of a winter celebration of Pride. During the third week of August every year, you can join in diverse celebrations of Ottawa's 2SLGBTQ+ community in parks, streets, clubs and other sites across the city.
Highlights of Capital Pride include sporting events, a Rainbow Party, a family picnic and the always-popular Pride Parade. Ottawa Capital Pride is an annual LGBTQ pride event, festival, and parade held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and Gatineau, Quebec, from mid to late August. Established in , it has evolved into a 7 to 9-day celebration of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, advocating for equality, diversity, and inclusion in the National Capital Region.
