On October 10 (KST), BTS ‘s RM hosted a brief livestream from his home, interacting with ARMYs. During the broadcast, he suddenly addressed a question about his relationship status. Aside from his widely acknowledged “” title, RM is sometimes referred to as the perfect husband material. None of the BTS members have confirmed if they are gay or not, hence making it clear that they are not gay.

Recently, RM celebrated his 30th birthday, and many ARMYs noticed that among the photos he shared that day was one with a man covered by a ghost emoji. A post shared by RM rkive. RM used to post photos with a man but always concealed his identity by covering his face with an emoji. Some ARMYs speculated that they were more than friends until an alleged breakup. It was giving breakup energy.

The theory is that the suspected ex-boyfriend wished him a happy birthday, and they reconnected, triggering RM to unarchive the memories made together. So, these speculations are groundless. RM has also never publicly come out as gay, so speculation of that kind is also groundless at this time.
